Oh, Those Crazy Hillbilly Neighbors!

First, let's set the weather condition.  It was a dry, clear Christmas eve.  No ice or snow on the roads.  So, I'm rather hard-pressed to explain how this van got where it did.  But then, I did voluntarily quit driving a year ago May.

Near as I can figure, one of my hillbilly trailer park neighbors may have had a sip too much egg nog and, perhaps, veered ever-so-slightly from the paved roadway... onto this steep decline which leads to a wooded creek some 60 feet below.

Can I Be a PWP on the PPAC for the PDF?

Saw on Twitter the other day that the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation is seeking applications for new members to serve on their People with Parkinson’s Advisory Council.  I filled out an application and encourage any Parkies or anyone affected by PD who happens to be reading this to do the same.

From the website:

Do you want to help guide the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF) in its work in the Parkinson’s community?

If so, then apply for a spot on our People with Parkinson’s Advisory Council (PPAC). PPAC is an advisory board which provides the perspective of people with Parkinson’s and care partners to PDF’s program development and priority setting.

Another Setback for Muz

My mom, God love her, came home from the Rehab facility yesterday.  And today, she's back in the hospital.  She just didn't have the strength to transfer from chair to bed, bed to chair, chair to potty, etc.

Big Changes Coming Jan. 1

Those of you who subscribe to this blog through a feed aggregator like Feedburner or Google Reader don't have to change a thing.  But if you just have my previous website bookmarked, by January 1, 2011, you will want to change that bookmark to http://parkybill.blogspot.com -- that's where I'm moving this blog.
